It looks like a white Droid RAZR is coming to Verizon soon. Someone posted a shot of the Verizon inventory system with the Droid RAZR white listed. It would make sense as the black RAZR looks amazing I’m sure it would look kick ass in white. The only downside to the Droid RAZR is that I don’t want to cover up this beauty with a Droid RAZR case.

The Droid RAZR is getting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in “early 2012″ says a Motorola senior VP.

The Droid RAZR thickness is 7.1 millimeters! Yes, that is thinner than the Galaxy s 2 @ 8.5mm and that fatty iPhone 4S @ 9.3mm. So the DROID RAZR wins in the thin category. The Droid RAZR is super thin and lightweight thanks to the special kevlar material on the back.

Yep, Motorola just named the Droid RAZR after the super smash hit 2004 Motorola RAZR line of flip phones. Motorola actually sold over 130 million of those stylish flip phones back before we had any true smart phones like the iPhones and Android phones (blackberry doesn’t count as a smart phone). By the way, those original 2004 RAZR phones were $400 on contract back then…what a rip.

This makes sense because the RAZR name is still well known and gives it an edge over “Droid HD“. Also, this Droid RAZR is supposed to be razor thin.

**Another name rumor is the “Motorola Spyder”

The Droid RAZR has some solid specs and fits right in with the top smart phones of 2011. They gave this baby the much like Gorilla Glass coating which helps keep those lame scratches off your 4.3″ qHD Super AMOLED display. Also, it’s sporting a speedy 1.2GHz dual-core processor (TI OMAP 4430) and a now standard 1GB of RAM.

The back looks like carbon fiber but apparently it’s actually Kevlar…which is very cool and tough and might help keep it’s amazingly slim 7.1mm profile strong. Let’s not forget about the full HD 1080p video camera and 8MP still camera.

Built in 16GB of storage and a generous 16GB on a microSD card.

Motorola is trying to help you save battery and has invented some software to help you manage your Droid RAZR’s battery life a bit better. This includes geofencing your bluetooth and even SLOWING down the processor while you’re doing things such as talking or texting.

Accessories include two lapdocks (10″ & 14″), wireless keyboard options, HD docks, car dock and Bluetooth headsets.
